Engine Code & Fitment Check

1. Read the plate on the engine itself. Note the full code and the serial number beneath it — a Kubota V3800 engine and a V1505 use completely different assemblies, and the machine decal is not always accurate after a re-power.
2. Record the machine details. Make, model, year and serial number. Kubota engines are fitted across many machine brands, so the engine plate and the machine plate together give the clearest picture.
3. Check the machine's own records. Previous engine work, a replacement injection pump or an earlier re-power is worth mentioning, because it can change which code is currently fitted.
4. Send clear photos. The engine plate, the engine bay and any damaged area. Three or four images let our team confirm the match and flag anything that would call for a different part.
